Attendance |
| |
| Dance classes should be
attended on a regular basis. The progress of the individual
student as well as the class depends on everyone’s
commitment. If a student is going to be absent, please try
to notify the office. There can be no refunds for missed
classes; however, students will be allowed to make up
classes within one month if possible. Check with the office
staff to determine a comparable class to attend. |

Tuition and Fees |
| |
Registration Fee: $40 for every student (parents of enrolled students do not pay a registration fee). Every student is required to submit a newly completed registration form each year, along with the registration fee.
Tuition Schedule for Non Company Classes
Monthly tuition is based on the number of weekly class hours taken. One hour of class time is $60 per month. Add $5 for each additional quarter-hour taken. Each additional family member receives a $10 discount for the 2nd child and $15 discount for the 3rd child.
Tuition Schedule for Company Classes
All company classes will be priced as follows:
- First company class: $80
- Second company class:
$50
- Third company class: $30
- Note: Students taking 3 company classes will be allowed to take a Pointe class and technique class for no additional charge.
Important:
Tuition is based on
enrollment, not attendance, and is due the first class of
each month.
It is important to remember that tuition is a monthly rate,
and remains the same whether
there are 3, 4, or 5 weeks in the month. Tuition payments
are due monthly; however, we
can accept payments in advance. (We will give a 10% discount
to accounts paid yearly in
advance.) Tuition can be paid in cash (a receipt will be
issued) or check. When making
payments by check, please put the student’s name on the memo
line. A statement will only be mailed or possibly e-mailed
to you if you have a balance overdue. Tuition is due by the
15th of each month, and will be considered late after that.
A $15 late fee will be assessed unless other arrangements
have been made with the office manager for a payment
schedule. There is a $45 NSF charge on all returned checks.
CLASS WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Early withdrawal from a class before the completion of the
year requires a 30-day written
withdrawal notice to the office manager. Please do not leave
phone messages or rely on the instructor to notify the
office. The Parent/Guardian continues to be responsible for
tuition during the 30-day notice period. |

Parent Conduct |
| |
Please show respect for the
teachers and the students by not entering the individual
dance studios during class time. If you have questions or
concerns, please ask an office staff member, or leave a
message for the teacher. This will give teachers the
opportunity to give you their full attention rather than
being distracted. Also, teachers cannot stay on
schedule if they talk to parents and /or students between
classes. We would also ask all
parents to please reinforce our expectations regarding
behavior and responsibility. Siblings must be kept under
strict supervision, as horseplay and running will not be
tolerated. You are welcome to call anytime, send us an
e-mail or leave a note in the payment box on the front
counter with any questions.

Recital Costumes |
| |
|
Recital costumes will be
ordered for all students that are enrolled as of December
1st, 2007. If a student takes ballet, tap and jazz then
3 costumes will be ordered. Sometimes the intermediate and
advanced Ballet classes will perform both a Classical and a
Lyrical number and the intermediate and advanced Tap classes
may do both a Tap and a Clogging number. In these cases
there would be two costumes ordered for each class. We will
deal with this on an individual class basis. All recital
costumes must be PAID IN FULL by December 15th in order for
costumes to be ordered on time. We are dealing with costumes
companies that require full payment when the order is
placed. All regular dance classes pay $60 for each class
your child takes. For example if your child takes Ballet/Tap
costume fee is $120, Ballet/Tap/Jazz is $180,
Ballet/Lyrical/Tap/Clogging/Jazz is $300. If your child
takes a teen class from Monica, Amanda or Michelle there may
be a small balance that will be billed to you in February or
March. All company classes pay $75 for each form of dance.
If the costumes are higher than $75 a bill will be sent for
the balance due. Please remember that costume fees need
to be paid in full by December 15th or we cannot order your
costumes.
IMPORTANT NOTE
REGARDING COSTUME PAYMENTS:
- Costume
fees can add up quickly, especially with students taking
multiple classes. We Strongly suggest that you pay for
one costume along with each tuition payment in
September, October, November and December. We will
accept payments to be applied to your costume account at
anytime. A statement will be sent out in early December
for any unpaid costumes. This will give you time
to get the payments in before the Dec. 15th
