Company Tryout Information

Company dancers will compete at competitions and perform at local festivals in ballet/lyrical, tap/clogging, and jazz/ hip hop. Rehearsals, in addition to regularly scheduled classes will be required, and there is one overnight "lock-in" at the studio to help prepare for competition.

Mini Company (4th, 5th & 6th grade)
Junior Company (7th and 8th grade)
Senior Company (9th-12th grade)

Tryouts will be held Monday, July 19th and Tuesday, August 10th
5:30 pm - 8:15 pm

Tryouts are for dancers new to the studio or who have not previously been in company or for those that would like to trout for the next level.

During tryouts the dancers will learn combinations and then perform them for a panel of judges. The tryout fee is $10.00. If you are planning to tryout, please call the studio at 851-2570 or send us an email.

Tryout Schedule

5:30 – 6:00 Sign in and Warm-up
6:00 – 6:45 Lyrical/ Ballet
6:45 – 7:30 Tap
7:30 – 8:15 Jazz/Hip Hop

What to wear: Leotard, tights, shorts or skirt and a cami if you prefer.

Shoes for all forms are required. No bare feet or socks will be allowed.
